Fates Echo

About:
This game was created as part of our senior capstone project. Where we were given the semester to ideate and create our own project. Resulting in us creating this short demo. 

Story:
Fate's Echo follows the journey of our hero, Rodelt. Together with his partner, Dorin, he runs a shop in a tranquil adventurer village. However, they have recently fallen on hard times. Upon hearing a rumor about a newly discovered dungeon rumored to contain vast riches, Rodelt sees an opportunity to help his partner and secure their future. Tragically, he meets a grim end within the dungeon but awakens as a ghost, with his memory hazy and confused about how or even why he ended up there. Determined to find his way out, he receives help from Amber, a ghostly goat once sacrificed to the dungeon's many monsters. Amber aids him in navigating the dungeon, coping with his lost memories, and adapting to his new ghostly form. As Rodelt ventures deeper, gradually uncovering his past, he realizes that there is more to the dungeon than he initially thought. As he continues his journey, he begins to hear fates echo.

• Spamming through dialogue causes it to freak out. (Can fix by walking out of range and re-engaging in conversation)
